These personalized, one-on-one immersions are designed to support the healing of early developmental trauma in a more comprehensive format. 

By focusing on regulating the nervous system to address the physiological effects of trauma, my goal is to help you experience a sense of safety, belonging, and secure connection in your relationships, develop a deeper connection with yourself, and feel more at ease in your body.

The Somatic Immersion is best suited for individuals who feel a strong commitment to delving deeper into their healing journey.

About Somatic Immersions

Immersive personal sessions are an extremely powerful way to do your healing work. These sessions are done in a comfortable setting, with most clients staying in local accommodations nearby, or in some situations, I’ve flown to work with clients in other places. Typically people sign up for 3-5 days to complete 10-15 sessions. When the work is done in an extensive, concentrated way like this, away from your typical day-to-day life, it allows each session to build on the one prior, so you can work through multiple layers in a more focused way, allowing for a profoundly deep and transformative experience.

Because each session builds on the previous one, you can work through a lot more concentrated in a few days than in the same number of sessions spread weekly across several months. You can then take time between segments of work to let things land until you feel ready for another series, or you might find you get to a point where you just need an occasional single session.

I’ve always loved the potency of immersions whether it be multi-day workshops, 4-day vision fasts or a 10-day training. Experiencing touch-based attachment work this way allowed for some of my deepest attachment healing and relational shifts, and I’m very excited to offer support to others in this way.

PLANNING FOR YOUR IMMERSION

This work is deep, so it is recommended that you give yourself plenty of time and space on the days of sessions to allow for proper rest and integration. It might not be the best time to schedule other things until you see how your nervous system responds, so it is recommended that if you would like to do sight-seeing you extend your trip by a few days to include that. Some things may feel heightened or more intense for a few days after our work together so you may want to take it easy - a day or 2 in nature or on the beach before you leave can also be a nice way to let things settle in your nervous system before returning to your work and daily routines.

FAQs

WHAT DOES THE SOMATIC IMMERSION LOOK LIKE?

The Somatic Immersion is comprised of multiple back-to-back 50-minute sessions with short breaks in between. Each day starts with a check-in to discuss anything specific that is needing attention and support, as well as any new observations or curiosities, then moves into working somatically with the body. Depending on which package you have selected, there will be 2-4 sessions per day.

During each session, your body is supported by a massage table while I move through a series of holds at various points along the nervous system to increase regulation and capacity and support attachment re-patterning. We also work with the limbic system and several primitive reflexes or different body systems depending on each person’s unique needs and what is showing up in the nervous system. IMPORTANT AFTERCARE NOTES

Take time, water, rest. Know that some things may feel heightened or more intense for a few days after our work together so it’s best if you take it easy, schedule some time in nature or at the beach to let the work land and your nervous system settle into its new orientation.

LOCATION

Somatic Immersions are currently available in Lisbon, Portugal, and Barcelona, Spain, with additional locations available by request. If you are a group of 4 or more people, we can also organize an Immersion in your city. Further details to be confirmed during the intake process.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

In addition to the immersion request form, completion of intake forms and a video call to discuss them are required before registration can be confirmed.
